I know this is a super late post, but it's completely for my benefit and no one else's. The holidays were so crazy and the entire season passed me by without me writing about them. I've obviously gotten way behind on blogging so I want to update just so I remember all of this in the future. So bare with me.
This past Thanksgiving was one of the best we've had in years! Usually it's a depressing holiday for me because we have no family here and a 4-day holiday with family is not worth the 1-2 thousand dollars it would cost us to visit either my or Matt's family. But this year we had some of our closest friends come to Vegas and stay with us for the entire Thanksgiving weekend. The Bishop's came from Utah and the Sommers came from Fallon, NV. Our families match up perfectly because for the most part, we all have the same ages of kids.
Our house was crowded, but for me, the more the merrier! It was fun to have constant chaos (the good type) and kids running around and laughing. There was no drama, no fighting, just pure fun! We put up our tent in the garage, not because we don't have ample floor space for the kids, but because we wanted to get them out of the house and it was too cold outside. They of course had a blast "camping" out there.
We took the kids out on Thanksgiving day for a some tri-family football and soccer games. And then Saturday went to a near-by softball field so the kids could practice hitting.
My goal was to take loads of pictures, but typical of me, I was just too distracted to take any. Here are a couple that Tori took with her camera.
