It snowed today in Las Vegas! And I don't mean our usual ten token snowflakes! It really snowed hard all day long! It started this morning at about 7:30am and just barely stopped at about 3:30pm. Everyone is outside with their cameras (just like me) and all the kids at school were mesmerized by the beauty of a field covered in snow. For most of you this is your usual winter, but it is a rare treat for us!
In the foreground of the above picture is our newly-poured patio extension. We just poured the concrete two days ago so I'm a little nervous! I've been trying to get the snow off of it, but it just keeps coming down! And of course we don't own a snow shovel so it's tricky!
Our house is much more beautiful painted with a little snow!
This is the entrance to the park near my house. I just thought it was a pretty picture.
I love seeing palm trees covered in snow! As I was driving around today, I couldn't help but snap a bunch of pictures.

Holy cow! I didn't know it could really snow there! Did the whole town like shut down? Haha. I have never seen snow on palm trees before. What a fun day for you guys. Your house and your patio and that new school are all beautiful and awesome and not boring at all. I love all the updates!
Wow!! You got more snow than we did. We were happy with our little inch. Looks like you've had some great projects. The patio will be wonderful for bbqs. Merry Christmas!!
Wow...I can not believe the palm trees. I bet the kids enjoyed it so much. It is pretty white here in Utah! A package should arrive sometime before Christmas.
