I had been successfully avoiding a family Christmas picture this year, until we attended a Christmas open house and were forced into it. For the past several years, our traditional Christmas picture has been of all the kids in front of our Christmas tree. But this year, without Cole around, it just hasn't felt right, so I've been avoiding it. This is a cute picture of us and all, but to me there is this huge, gaping hole without Cole. It's definitely not the same without him this Christmas season! Enjoy the picture for what it is, even if it's not our whole family - it's as good as it's gonna get this year. We love you and miss you, Cole!

I can somewhat relate to having a missing piece of the family. Although Mish lives only a few miles away I haven't spoken to her in over a year and saw her only a few times this past fall at soccer games. There will always be a hole in my heart and in our family without her. Your picture did turn out great, much better than my picture in front of the Christmas Tree. I love you all, Steve
