We finally have a yard! It was put in the week before Christmas, but it's been so cold and a little rainy so we haven't been able to enjoy it much. It's so nice to look outside and see something pretty instead of just rocks and dirt. All the plants are just babies so it looks pretty naked, but it will look better in a couple of years. And I keep reminding myself: It's still a work in progress...
This is the "before" picture, taken when we first moved into our house.
The three holes on the left will be our three fruit trees, which have been ordered, but we are still waiting for them to arrive. We are getting a peach, apple, and fruit salad (variety of citrus fruits that grow on the same tree). The raised planter in the upper right of the picture will be our little vegetable garden.
The dogs felt like they needed a little blog time I guess. This is our flagstone pathway that goes from the side gate, up the side yard, and around to the patio. I love the green and yellow shrubs.
You can kind of see our little sand box on the right side of this picture.

Love the yard! It looks great! So how do you guys keeps the dogs from tearing up the lawn and digging holes in the dirt?????
Great looking yard guys! Having it all put together makes it so fun to actually use and enjoy. I can't wait to see it. Maybe soon we will make it there.

I think the yard looks great. Your patio looks like it is made form the same material as mine. Let me know if it gets dirty and how you get it to look clean again. I noticed you have dogs like me. But it rains alot here and that could be why my patio gets so dirty from the dog.
