Father's Day Tribute

Yes, Matt is PURPOSELY being cross-eyed here!!!

I must take a second and to pay tribute to my wonderful husband. One of the first qualities I admired in Matt was what a wonderful father he was. I felt so lucky that I could observe him as a dad before I married him and I loved watching him take care of Cole; he was so gentle and caring and I was amazed at the bond they shared. I knew without a doubt that he would be an amazing father to our future children as well. That definitely proved to be true from the moment we had Tori, and of course continues to be true to this day. He is one of the few dads I've seen who genuinely enjoys spending time with his children, and if he has a job to do or errands to run, he finds ways to make the kids join in with him so he can be with them while he works. He is the perfect mix of being affectionate, goofy (OK, dorky, as seen in the above picture), and wild. I always feel so blessed that he is my huband, but I know my kids are even more blessed to have him as their father. At their young ages, they probably take it for granted and have no idea how blessed they are. One day I'm sure they'll get it. Happy Father's Day, Matt!
