Oregon Trip

Earlier in January my grandmother died. Yes, sad, I know. But she was 96. So I guess it was finally her turn. She was a beautiful, vibrant woman and I will miss her sweetness.
I took Jaxon to Oregon with me for the funeral and decided to stay a little while to get some fun in with the family.

Jaxon and Luke were a dynamic duo. Jaxon thinks Luke is about the coolest kid in the world and wanted to play with him every day. Luke even skipped school to spend some extra time with Jaxon. They were such goofballs and played so well together. Of course as soon as we got back home, Jaxon was asking to go back to Oregon to see Luke (and Hadley, Luke's sister).
We attempted a trip to the beach and took my niece, Morgan, along. It was cold and rainy, but as gorgeous as ever. We didn't last long because it was raining sideways and we were drenched in just a couple of minutes. It didn't put a damper on the experience for me, though. Lincoln City is the most beautiful place in the world to me, no matter the season or weather.

Isn't that so gorgeous?

My sister and I took the kids up to the snow one day and went tubing. It was a blast! We were pulled up the hill while sitting in our tubes and then cruised down the hill at an incredible speed. It was awesome!

My cute niece, Hadley, posing for me. Too cute!
