For New Year's weekend we surprised the kids with a trip to Fallon, Nevada to visit some of our favorite friends, the Sommers. We had a great time staying up late, playing games, and lounging in our pajamas all day. One day we got a little bit of snow and the kids had fun playing around in it before it quickly melted away. I had my camera on the wrong focus setting so it focused on all the snowflakes instead of the kids' faces. Oh, well. I'm still learning.

Super glad you guys made it up here to visit. I was just happy to have Matt as an excuse to watch so much football! "What Kara? No I can't turn off the TV... Matt is here and he really needs to watch the game!" :)
