What's Cole Been Up To?

As most of you know, Cole moved to New York at the beginning of this past summer. As a result, he has been absent from all of our family pictures and activities that I've posted here. We talk to him regularly, but we miss him terribly! He sent a few pictures recently so I figured I'd share them with everyone so you could see a little bit of what's going on in his life. Things have been very crazy for him with so many changes these past few months. First of all, he started middle school in September and moved into a new house at the beginning of October. He seems to really like middle school and has done some fun projects that his mom has been nice enough to share with us. Here are the pics to tell the rest...

He started playing the trumpet recently and played "Old MacDonald" for us on the phone last week. He started late so he is doing double lessons to catch up with the other kids and start playing in band soon.
Sibling #7 arrived in October. He loves anything that is a baby (animal, human, you name it) so I'm sure he is in heaven holding a sleeping baby every day.

Anyone want to take a guess at his costume? I'm not sure where his arms are, but he was a lego for Halloween. He bragged to us that he got tons of compliments. Not sure if this trumps last year's homemade toilet costume, but pretty clever indeed! Way to go, Miriam!

ONLY FIVE MORE DAYS TIL HE COMES FOR THANKGIVING!
(We've had a countdown going on for a while now.) I will be sure to take lots of pictures and share them with all of you. It will be great to have our family back together again soon. It's just not the same without Cole!
