On Saturday the kids and I went up to Red Rock for a hike with our friend, Jessie. We had such a great time! It was a chilly day for Las Vegas, so we look like we're geared up for snow - we've become so wimpy is this HOT climate! Jacob especially loved being up in the mountains where he could explore and climb as high as he wanted. He is such an adventurer!

I love being out in nature. I didn't know it could get cold in Vegas :) It is starting to feel quite chilly here in Oregon now. I don't like the cold, but I love the seasons.
We don't even have our winter coats out yet. MY kids were wearing sweatshirts in 40 degrees today. This makes me laugh. You would never have survived the first winter in NY:)
