Backyard Fun

Our backyard is still just empty and filled with rocks, but the kids don't seem to mind, and are enjoying it. Even in its pathetic condition, it's still more than we had before and they are grateful for it. Jacob could spend all day in the backyard playing what he calls "dinosaur digs." He loves to create little worlds of rivers and ponds, and excavate large rocks. On this particular day he spent two to three hours playing with shovels, water, rocks, and mud - a boy's heaven on earth. Jaxon and Tori will join in on occasion, but it is Jacob who begs every day to go out and get muddy.

Jacob's life of bliss...does it get any better than this? We got a trampoline a while ago, but it's taken me a while to take pictures and post them. We love to play on the trampoline (apparently it's the most fun when mom's joining in) and even Jaxon is quite the little bouncer. They have so much fun doing tricks and playing trampoline games. Jaxon and I go out several times a day and play around on the tramp - he'll stand by the door and say, "Jump high?" That is his way of asking to go out and jump. The kids especially love it when Matt goes out because Dad always plays rough and bounces them the highest. Now we're waiting for Cole to come and jump with us - he always makes everything more fun!

Jacob loves doing flips!
