It's official.....I'm a failure!

Ever have one of those moments with your kids that makes you feel like you've totally dropped the ball as a parent? Well, I have those on a regular basis, but here's the latest one. My dad is in town and bought the kiddos the Shrek Christmas movie. So yesterday they were happily watching it. During the movie, Fiona is giving Shrek a lecture because he was being selfish and was rude to their friends on Christmas. She says, "Shrek, this isn't about you... and it isn't about me."

That's when Jaxon chides in, speaking directly to the TV: "Ya, it's about Santa!"

So Jaxon and I had a little chat today about why we celebrate Christmas.
