Today we visited one of the funnest places I've been to in a long time. It's called Roos-N-More and the best way I can describe it is to call it an exotic petting zoo. Very few of their animals are off limits to visitors - you actually go INSIDE most of their cages, learn about them from a tour guide, and with careful instruction, you are allowed to feed them and pet them. Unlike any other zoo I've been to, this place encourages you to bring food for the animals - carrots, apples, popcorn, grapes, etc. It's amazing! My kids absolutely loved it!
I couldn't get enough of this little guy! His name is King Kong. He was bribed away from his owner with a grape.
A lady was walking around the entrance with this handsome guy! So cute!
These porcupines were HUGE! And they are so nice that you can walk around with them and pet them! They dug their own burrow 65 feet into the ground!
This 15-year-old kid was our tour guide. He is the son of the owners of the zoo and has grown up with these animals. He had so many fun stories because many of these animals have lived in their house with them! He would walk into any cage and up to any animal and pick it up. You could tell they all knew and loved him. Notice King Kong clinging to him! He feeds it all its bottles and it sleeps with him at night! Lucky kid!

This little guy was so nice to all the kids and would crawl from one neck to another looking for treats. This is Jacob that he is on right now. I reached out to pet him and he climbed up my arm and tried to take my camera!
I think this one is a wallaby?
The hedgehog pen is comletely open on top so you can reach in and pet them. They are pretty pokey, though!
A Ze-Donk
This camel is so sweet and will eat a carrot right out of your mouth! When this kid walked through the gate, the camels ran to him and nuzzled him.
He would eat right out of your hand, too!
The sloths were pretty smelly, but it was so cool to pet them and feed them!

Super Cool I wish I could go there. I would absoloutly love it and it would be cool to hold the monkey.
How fun!!! Looks like the kids had a blast! I know my boys would love that place! Of course I know there would be lots of giggling, and shrieking....lol!
I want to go there! What a fun petting zoo! I am just dying over that little monkey. He is adorable!
