I almost want to apologize for writing yet another post that will probably bore everyone to death. Most people I know probably take spring for granted, as they see the same thing year after year. But as for me, I feel like I have missed this most wonderful season for the past six years. In fact, for six years I haven't noticed seasons passing me by at all, except for the 110+ degree weather in the summer (who could miss that?). You see, where I lived before, all I ever saw was palm trees (tons of them), african sumacs, and the occasional pine tree. But not too much vegetation that would indicate what time of year it is. I must add that March has always been one of my favorite months of the year in Vegas, and this year we live in an area where the streets are lined with beautiful trees that are either blooming with gorgeous flowers or growing new little bright green leaves. And for the first time in six years, I am enjoying the beauty of the spring . I also have a backyard now and can enjoy looking out my kitchen window at what spring has brought back there - my new baby trees are blooming and I just recently planted a few little vegetable plants in the garden. Fun, fun, fun. Ah, the beauty of the spring! We've had a cold enough winter that I am ready for the warmer weather. Bring it on...

Wow! What beautiful photos! How exciting to watch it all bloom before your eyes. I hope your vegetable garden grows plenty of veggies for you. After 6 years in Vegas I can imagine you are enjoying your new backyard. I'm so happy for you! Thanks for sharing!
Yay for getting your garden planted. Your yard looks great. I love all your fruit trees. You'll have to let me know which ones do the best for you. I think I'd like to add another little fruit tree to our yard at some point.
Beautiful spring! I just can't wait for our trees to bloom too! I am jealous that you get it so much sooner than me. Gardens are such wonderful things. (Although my kids don't think so when it is their turn to water it.)
Your trees are awesome! I love it! One day we might have a house..hahaha. Not for FOREVER! Miss you guys!
I am feeling a little responsible if your garden doesn't produce very well...hehe.
Wow, you have a green thumb...awesome!
Wish we had spring here. I miss the season of Sering. Rochester seems to jump from winter to summer in a blink of an eye.
I am amazed at your green thumb! Isn't spring wonderful? I love your photos . . . I hope the weather stays mild for a while.
I love it! I LIVE for springtime when everything comes back to life! Your yard is beautiful!
