Yesterday was Jaxon's big #2!!! As every parent probably says at this point, I can't believe how fast time flies! Has it really been two whole years already? Jaxon's little celebration was a lot of fun! His favorite part was the opening of the presents and of course, playing with them afterwards. My favorite part, however, was Jaxon attempting to blow out his candles. When Matt lit a match the first time, his eyes got all big and he said in his little Jaxon voice, "Help me, Mama! I don't want it!" But once he got used to the fire, he tried and tried to blow out those candles (see video). Here is a list of my favorite Jaxon traits:
*he calls for me every morning so I will cuddle with him before he gets out of bed
*he loves to rough-house with the big boys
*he always says, "Help me, Mama" whenever he's in a jam
*his new deep, open-mouthed laugh that goes "Ha Ha Ha"
*he asks every morning, "Where'd Daddy go?"
*he gets so excited every night when Daddy gets home
*he says juice with added emphasis on the "ooo" and puckers his lips
*he loves to copy me when I'm yelling for one of the kids
*sometimes he calls his Daddy "Matt"
*when he really wants your attention, he grabs both sides of your face to talk to you
*he depends on his big sister for comfort when I'm not around. Here are some fun birday pics:

It is amazing how fast time flies. My youngest is 3 years old as of last May. I can't believe you have four kids. When we were at BYU I had my first baby (10 1/2 now) I think I remember visiting you in Provo after you had your first baby. That was the last time I saw you, as we moved to Oregon right after. It still boggles my mind that you have four kids. You have a beautiful family. Hopefully next year we'll have one more baby (then I'll have four children too) :)

FUNNY video...I feel bad we didn't make it that night. I wish I could freeze time....only when it comes to the cute little ones..not the ones who hit their dad during a tantrum (BLAKE as you witnessed)!HAHA
